The four and a half star Amora Hotel on the banks of the Yarra River in Melbourne has completed the makeover begun last year.

The upgraded hotel now features spacious meeting and conference spaces with the two larger function rooms revamped with new ceilings, new carpet, a new operable wall along with mood lighting and AV equipment.

General manager Tim Bilston is excited by the refurbishment.

“[We] can now offer our visitors one of the best venues in terms of flexibility, just a stones throw from Melbourne CBD,” he said.

Combined, the rooms can now accommodate more than 220 guests theatre style for a function, or 250 people for a cocktail event.

The hotel also featured an upgrade of the beds in all 111 guestrooms.
