Accor’s MGallery Collection has notched up two major milestones in Europe, signing its first hotel in Rhodes, Greece, and opening a new wellness-focused property on France’s Atlantic coast.

The boutique hotel brand has partnered with Colossos SA, a family-owned Rhodes hospitality operator, to develop MGallery Rhodes, an adults-only resort set to open in the Kallithea area overlooking the Aegean Sea in Spring 2027. The property will comprise 222 guestrooms, suites and bungalows, many featuring private pools, with architecture and design drawing on the island’s medieval heritage and Mediterranean surrounds.

Guests will have access to five restaurants, several bars and a dedicated cocktail venue spanning Mediterranean and international cuisine, alongside a 1,100-square-metre spa developed with Swiss skincare brands Valmont and Swiss Perfection. Tennis and padel courts round out the wellness and leisure offering.

The signing adds to MGallery’s existing Greek portfolio, which includes hotels in Athens, Crete and Mykonos, plus an upcoming opening in Samos.

Meanwhile, on France’s Île d’Oléron, Bel Hotel Oléron Thalasso & Spa – MGallery Collection has officially opened its doors at Plage de Gatseau. The 102-room property sits between pine forest and ocean, with each room offering a private balcony or terrace, and interiors built around natural materials and neutral tones in keeping with the island’s understated coastal character.

Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire has shaped the hotel’s dining concept, drawing on regional seafood and seasonal produce. Wellness is a central pillar of the property, with a Spa & Thalasso facility offering 27 treatment rooms, seawater therapies, indoor pools, sauna and hammam, developed in partnership with French skincare brand Phytomer.

The two properties form part of MGallery Collection’s broader global growth strategy. The brand now counts more than 125 boutique hotels worldwide, with a further 56 in the pipeline.
