Australian owned audio-visual and event staging services supplier, Microhire, has announced its expansion into South Australia with AI-driven event technology at Adelaide Marriott Hotel.

Adelaide’s first Marriott property, opening in mid-August 2024, is an architectural landmark that features sweeping views of the city and offers purpose-built meeting rooms and conference facilities designed to cater to every event need. It makes it the perfect venue to premier the capabilities of Microhire in the region.

This significant milestone enables Microhire to bring its unparalleled engagement and accessibility through advanced AI-powered simultaneous interpretations to South Australia. This cutting-edge technology ensures high-quality real-time translations to audiences in their preferred language, making events truly global and inclusive.

Additionally, Microhire’s AI tracking cameras also provide dynamic and precise video coverage, automatically following speakers and participants to capture every moment with commercial-grade accuracy.

“We are thrilled to partner with Microhire as their inaugural hotel in South Australia. Their innovative approach and state-of-the-art technology perfectly aligns with our commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences,” Adelaide Marriott General manager, Paul Gallop, said.

These advanced AI technologies greatly enhance the audiences’ engagement and enjoyment with seamless communications and dynamic visuals for both in-person and virtual attendees.

Microhire’s investment in technology also includes a spectacular 4.8m x 2.7m 4K LED screen in the Sir Charles Todd Ballroom, accompanied by dynamic lighting installations capable of versatile effects including beams and rotating lens capabilities. These features are tailored to the venue to create breathtaking visuals, ensuring that every event is memorable and impactful.

“Entering the South Australian market with Marriott allows us to offer a distinct and innovative event experience,” Microhire’s Regional general manager Victoria & South Australia, Bryan Dochstader, said.

“The venue’s unique appeal and our dedication to customer-focused technology, will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on the state.”
