The challenge for the industry is…. Providing great customer service with every interaction.

The things I like about my job… Talking with different people every day and being able to listen to music as loud as I want in the car. Also getting to work with an awesome team of people and sharing a destination that I love with my agents.

And the frustrations are … Trying to remember where I have parked the car and figuring out how to get out of what ever car park I happen to be lost in.

If I didn’t work in travel I would be… A baker. Cake makes everyone happy.

Favourite airline? Virgin. They always give me an exit row but I wouldn’t mind an upgrade to business class every now and then.

My proudest moment was… At the TTC Global Conference in 2010. We were all taken to South Africa where I was presented with the AAT Kings Sales Manager of the Year award.

The naughtiest thing I ever did was… Go straight from a bar in Queenstown to the airport for an early morning flight to Auckland.

I try to relax by… Watching a movie. Escaping to a dark room with reclining seats with salty popcorn is very appealing.

The last time I feared for my life was… Driving on the M1 or any other highway in Queensland for that matter.

If I can, I always try to avoid… Peak hour traffic and road works.

I really wish I had… Better eyebrows.

The best advice I’ve ever received was… “You are not required to set yourself on fire to keep others warm”

I don’t understand why people… Leave holidaying in Australia and New Zealand till later in life. There are some seriously amazing places and cool things to do right on our doorstep.

My greatest weakness is… 12 year old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey and Pugs.

And my greatest strength is… I love a chat and I will talk to anyone. I’ve been known to run to one of my agents for a brochure and a business card because I’ve bumped into a nice couple in a coffee shop who were chatting about their next holiday and we have just spent the last 30 minutes talking about a trip to Tasmania!

If I won a $1 million lottery (aside from travelling), I would… Pay off the mortgage on my townhouse, buy a real house (like a proper grown up) and a Pug.

If I was prime minister I would… Get lost in parliament house trying to find my office.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be a… Dog. All my dog does is eat and sleep. Sounds like heaven to me!

I’ve always wanted to travel to… Egypt. It’s been on my bucket list since I got my first passport.

My favourite holiday was… Exploring New York and Washington DC. Every thing in New York is HUGE and everywhere I went in DC has been in a movie. I wanted to run through the reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial yelling “FORREST! FORREST!”
