The challenge for the cruise industry is…. trying to encourage more Australians to cruise, with less than 5% of Aussies travelling there is a huge opportunity for growth.

The best thing about cruising is….there is something for everyone. You can do as much or as little as you like.

The biggest barrier to selling a cruise holiday is….the fears and stigma attached to cruising.

If I didn’t work in travel I would be a…. nurse.

My proudest moment was….winning the Rising Star award.

The naughtiest thing I ever did was…….now that would be telling!

I try to relax by….going shopping. You can never have enough bags or shoes.

Qantas or Virgin….Virgin. I like the business model. Branson is a very intelligent man and I’d love to met him one day.

The last time I feared for my life….on my recent master’s cruise, me and a colleague decided to go swimming at the beach in Port Headland – lucky the crocs weren’t hungry that day!

If I can, I always try to avoid….confrontation. I don't know anyone who thrives off arguing with people.

I really wish I had….a crystal ball so I could see into the future.

The best advice I’ve ever received was….answer the phone with a smile. People can always hear it on the other end and it’s a great start to any conversation.

I don’t understand why…the government can’t do something about Garden Island being used for other ships instead of just the Navy and occasionally QM2.

My greatest weakness is….I’m a work-a-holic.

And my greatest strength….I’m a hard working, loyal person who likes to help people.

If I was prime minister I would….make the Navy move from Garden Island and turn it into a cruise terminal so Australia could attract more ships.

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would….buy myself a new car, buy my dad a huge house on the water then give the rest to a few charities.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be….Ann Sherry. It would be amazing to see what goes on behind the scenes of organising cruises, running the company etc.

I’ve always wanted to travel to….a game reserve in Africa.

My favourite holiday was…. a month long holiday in Vietnam in 2008. It gave me a better perspective on life and it made me realise not everyone is as well off as Australians.
