MSC Cruises unveiled its comprehensive spa and wellness offerings aboard its newest flagship vessel MSC World Asia that ranges from holistic thermal rituals to advanced wellness therapies.
The cruise ship will begin seven-night Mediterranean cruises from 4 December.
The destinations of the sailings include Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.
“Wellness has become an increasingly important part of the travel experience, and our ambition with MSC World Asia was to create a spa that rivals the finest wellness destinations on land,” MSC Cruises senior vice president of onboard revenues Georg Schmickler said.
“By combining beautifully designed spaces, innovative therapies, advanced technologies and personalised experiences, we’ve created our most comprehensive wellness offering to date.”
Wellness offering highlights
- The 1,260sqm MSC Aurea Spa will offer guests a sophisticated sanctuary for relaxation, rejuvenation and wellbeing at sea.
- Dry Float Therapy by Starpool, which relieves muscular tension and promotes deep relaxation without getting wet.
- Whole-Body Cryotherapy, Iyashi Dôme Infrared Therapy, and LPG Endermologie treatments.
- The MSC Gym powered by Technogym, featuring state-of-the-art equipment.
- A Thermal Area that features 12 immersive wellness experiences where the restorative benefits of heat, water and relaxation come together.
MSC World Asia will feature subtle design elements that reflect Asia’s rich culture, art and landscapes.
Aside from wellness offerings, MSC Cruises unveiled last month that MSC World Asia will also feature a Venchi chocolate store.
