National Geographic Signature with G Adventures has added 17 new itineraries to its high-end expedition collection, bringing its total offering to 67 trips across 48 destinations.
The new departures span Africa, Oceania, Europe, South America and Asia, continuing the collection’s focus on expert-led access and community tourism experiences. Each trip is accompanied by a National Geographic Expedition Expert in fields such as photography, conservation, wildlife biology, geology or archaeology, alongside a National Geographic Expedition Leader.
Yves Marceau, VP Product at G Adventures, said the response to the Signature collection reflected a shift in traveller demand. “Travellers are looking for trips that align strongly with their values,” he said. “They still expect outstanding service and comfort, but increasingly they’re looking for experiences that broaden their perspective.”
Among the new itineraries are:
- An eight-day Kenya trip taking in Samburu, the Masai Mara and the Indigenous-owned Reteti elephant sanctuary, from $16,399pp; ‘
- A 13-day New Zealand journey through Milford Sound, Waitomo and Māori cultural experiences, from $19,499pp;
- An eight-day Rwanda expedition combining the Kigali Genocide Memorial with gorilla and chimpanzee tracking, from $25,649pp;
- An 11-day Sri Lanka itinerary covering tea country, Yala National Park and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, from $11,999pp;
- A six-day Iceland winter departure featuring the Golden Circle and Northern Lights, from $8,599pp; and a seven-day Ecuador trip spanning Quito, the Amazon and Andean highlands, from $9,149pp.
Further new departures cover India, Botswana, southern Africa, East Africa and the United States.
