It sounds like a name a school kid would give an airline, but in this case it’s legit and it’s launching soon.
Really Cool Airlines will take to the skies in Thailand later this year.
Former Nok Air chief executive Patee Sarasin is behind the new venture.
“We are thrilled to introduce Really Cool Airlines and look forward to providing travellers with an exceptional flying experience,” Sarasin said.
“Our team of experts has worked tirelessly to create a new standard for the aviation industry, and we’re excited to unveil in the coming months what we have in store.”
The airline is set to announce its fleet and route plans in the coming months, with an expectation to be in the air by the end of 2023.
All details apart from the name have remained under wraps, including investors and fare structuring.
Images released to media from the airline feature an Airbus A350 with livery featuring a set of headphones and sunglasses.
Sarasin launched low-cost Thai carrier Nok in 2004, stepping down as the airline’s boss in 2017.
