Qantas now has the capability to offer ‘Dynamic Commissions’ to travel agents via the Qantas Distribution Platform (QDP).
When shopping via the QDP, travel agents will be able to identify offers that attract a commission that is higher than the standard base commission that would normally have applied.
Dynamic Commissions will be available from time to time on selected Qantas international fares and flights. Agents who book via the QDP will be able to see the commission that applies on a particular Qantas itinerary and if Dynamic Commission is applicable.
Agents who are participating in the Qantas Channel and make bookings via the QDP will be able to access Dynamic Commissions.
However, Qantas noted that access to Dynamic Commissions is dependent on the capability of each agency’s tech partner.
