Perth’s first CBD hotel to offer full 360-degree Swan River and city views has arrived – DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront.

The new property will welcome its first guests on 15 December 2020, offering a stay right on the waterfront adjoining Barrack Square and the Elizabeth Quay dining and entertainment precincts.

Hotel manager Tamer ElGhamry boasts over 20 years’ experience at Hilton as he leads the team in opening the second DoubleTree property in Perth, the fastest-growing brand in the hospitality giant’s portfolio.

The brand-new property sits on the river and features 18 floors and 229 rooms gracing Perth’s waterfront, each with beautiful views of the city or the Swan River.

The riverside location allows for easy access to an abundance of local experiences and is just a short walk to transport hubs, city attractions and Perth’s central shopping hub.

The hotel will offer nine various room configurations, including King or Twin Deluxe Panoramic River View or City View rooms.

DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront also features five versatile meeting spaces with natural daylight, all with the latest audio-visual equipment.

The outdoor pool and lounge terrace on level five is the perfect place for guests to take a dip while watching the sunset and enjoying a cocktail from room service.

For those who like to wake up with a bit more movement, the river-facing fitness centre is open 24 hours a day.

The hotel’s restaurant, Reel Kitchen, has uninterrupted Swan River views and showcases fresh local produce and fresh seafood, paired with an extensive wine list featuring a vast selection of Western Australian wines.

On the 18th floor, guests can take in panoramic views of the Swan River, Kings Park and the city skyline from the rooftop bar, 18 Knots. This is ideal for a Sunday session or date night, with a casual menu showcasing light bites and sharing plates.

The artwork on the side of the building has been designed and installed by Swiss-born, Fremantle-based artist Tom Mùller. He has created a piece which brings a multitude of triangles together in various shades of blue, designed to reflect the rhythm and waves of the Swan River.

Opening just in time for the festive season, there will be a Christmas Day Buffet lunch in Reel Kitchen where guests can eat until their bellies are full while soaking up the spectacular views.

There is also a countdown to 2021 at 18 Knots, where guests can celebrate in style on the top floor with a DJ, canapes and drinks package for their NYE rooftop party.

And, of course, Hilton’s CleanStay program will be rolled out across the property to provide peace of mind for guests during their stay.
