This increased service is designed to offer travellers greater flexibility and choice between these two Polynesian archipelagos.
Air Moana has launched its new Premium Class “Poe Premium” (Pearl), offering a unique, top-of-the-range flying experience in ATR. The new class features 12 reclining leather seats with 39 inches of legroom. New cruise itineraries and tours
Aranoa, a new mixed cargo ship operated by cruise company Aranui, sets sail for the remote Austral Islands in the first half of 2027. With its 93 cabins, including 62 with balconies, the Aranoa accommodates up to 198 passengers while carrying freight. Passengers can enjoy 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 whirlpools with ocean views and a boutique. As bookings are made two years in advance, Aranui Cruises has indicated that precise itineraries and fares will be unveiled in June 2025.
Apetahi Express continues to expand with a new route from the capital to the Tahitian Peninsula, Tahiti-iti. This new, fast and convenient route to Taiarapu allows passengers to discover this natural jewel as wild and authentic as the remote islands, just 50 km from Papeete. When arriving in Tahiti-iti, travellers will have the opportunity to make their way to the famous surf spot, Teahupoo.
In keeping with the philosophy of PONANT and the PONANT EXPLORERS, Le Jacques-Cartier is a modern ship with slender, tapered lines, environmentally friendly and equipped with innovative technology. The new ship will take travellers to some of the most remote and lesser-known islands in The Islands of Tahiti, such as the Marquesas, Tuamotus and Austral islands.
