With the nation’s largest tourism players signalling a return to travel, a new platform has launched in response.
Travel Agent Finder has been designed to make the process of finding the right travel agent simpler, fairer and more personalised.
The independent site, which is free for travellers to search and agents to sign up, features a network of accredited local agents who have created their own profiles to showcase their unique skills and credentials.
Holidaymakers can search the network, compare agent profiles and select an expert who best suits their travel needs based on their experience, destination knowledge and location, with agent reviews providing more of a deep dive on service quality.
The platform was created by agent Anna Shannon, who, having been hit hard like so many others by the COVID crisis, recognised the need for connecting travellers with quality travel advisors in a post-pandemic world, while at the same time creating a potential new source of income for agents.
