Travel writer Rob McFarland has announced new writing workshops in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

Aimed at tourism PRs, agents, marketers and operators, the courses cover press release writing and story pitching and include feedback from 30 of Australia’s leading travel editors.

Following the huge success of last year’s workshops, Rob McFarland is at it again.

How to get the media’s attention

What do Australia’s top travel editors want in press releases and story pitches?

What format, tone and style do they prefer?

How do they want images?

What about follow-up?

Learn all this and more in a half-day workshop for tourism PRs, agents, marketers and operators that includes feedback from 30 of Australia’s leading travel editors (including Traveller, Escape, The Australian, GQ & Vogue).

Taught by award-winning travel writer Rob McFarland, the workshop also includes a detailed post-course review of a press release or story pitch.
