The Western Sydney Tourism Taskforce is thrilled to announce the opening of nominations for the Western Sydney Tourism Awards 2025.
This prestigious event will celebrate the outstanding achievements of the tourism industry in Southwest and Western Sydney and is set to take place on 5th September 2025.
With the highly anticipated opening of the WSI Airport in less than two years, this year’s awards are more significant than ever.
The event will recognize excellence across various sectors, including hotels, music and arts, tourism businesses, major events, and tour groups.
Fazila Farhad, Chair of Western Sydney Tourism, emphasized the importance of these awards: “After the success of our inaugural event last year showcasing industry
excellence is imperative at this stage to increase visitation to our region and highlight the outstanding places to eat, stay, and experience.”

- Nominations and written submissions close: 2 June 2025
- Finalists announced: 16 June 2025
- Awards Night: 5 September 2025
