Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has opened for sale the most itineraries at once in its history, with sailings from 35 departure ports – including brand-new NCL homeports in Haifa, Israel and La Romana, Dominican Republic.
The announcement includes Australia and New Zealand cruises, as well as cruises within Northern Europe, The Mediterranean, Alaska and the Caribbean through to October 2024, while Hawai’i inter-island 7-day voyages are now open up to December 2025.
The Norwegian Spirit cruise ship (featured image), which recently underwent a $US100 million makeover, will return to Australian and New Zealand waters from December 2023, offering eight 12-day sailings between Sydney and Auckland.
European cruises include sailing to Italy, Spain and Croatia which departs December 2023 on the Norwegian Epic cruise ship, an 11-day Grand Mediterranean sailing on the Norwegian Escape cruise ship which includes a midnight departure from Ibiza; and a late-night departure from Santorini on the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship’s 7-day roundtrip voyage from Trieste.

“So many travellers have been looking to make up for lost time and now we’re providing them with unique itineraries to check off those bucket-list destinations they may have longed for over the last year and a half.
“These port-rich itineraries allow our guests more time to explore unique destinations like a local and indulge in the cultural experiences around them,” said Sommer.
The 35 departure ports across the globe include Australia, New Zealand, Haifa, Isreal, La Romana, Dominican Republic, Hawaii, Alaska, Greek Isles and Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canada, New England, Panama Canal, the Caribbean, and Bermuda.
