Norwegian Spirit has debuted in Asia, arriving in Tokyo on 26 May 2024 to embark on a 10-day exploration of Japan including calls to Shimizu, Nagoya, Kobe, Kochi, Naha and Hirara.

In September, she will return for a continuous 14-month Asia season offering a collection of over 30 port-intensive voyages from nine-to-15-days and sailing to Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.

Season highlights include brand first visits to Matsuyama and Niigata, Japan and an average of 10 hours in port in both well-known and less discovered cities such as Osaka and Tokyo (Japan), Hong Kong, Incheon (South Korea), Keelung (Taiwan), and Laem Chabang (Thailand).

“I am thrilled to welcome Norwegian Spirit for her first visit to Tokyo and to deliver even more opportunities for our guests to truly explore Asia with our diverse itineraries and ports of call,” said Ben Angell, vice president, and managing director Norwegian Cruise Line APAC.

“Following our recent launch of a range of new sailings, our Asia deployment is truly unparalleled. With the choice of three ships, eight departure ports, over 50 sailings and 40 unique ports of call including 30 overnights, we can deliver the experience our guests are seeking – more immersive and exploratory holidays.”

Following her 2024/25 Asia season, Norwegian Spirit will return to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific between December 2025 and March 2026.

The Company will have its most ships ever sailing in Asia between September 2025 and March 2026 with Norwegian Spirit to be joined by Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Sky.
