NSW Premier Chris Minns attended the official topping-out of the $375 million Archibald by ALAND project, which includes new-build hotel, voco Gosford.
Due to open later in 2024, the Archibald precinct is set to revitalise the Central Coast region and includes voco Gosford (opening mid-2025), the first new-build hotel to open in the region in more than 15 years, as well as 327 high-end apartments and six hospitality venues including the Central Coast’s highest rooftop bar.
Located in the heart of Gosford, between Newcastle and Sydney, voco Gosford is set to be the perfect destination for rest, work and play, with stunning beaches, national parks and the Gosford foreshore right on its doorstep.
ALAND founder and director, Andrew Hrsto, said it’s an exciting time for the region with the launch of the upscale lifestyle hotel set to revitalise Gosford.
“This is the first time since 2007 that a major new-build hotel has opened on the Central Coast and as part of the $375 million Archibald by ALAND mix-use development, it’s going to change the face of the city,” Hrsto said.
“We’re thrilled to be working with IHG to bring the seventh voco hotel in Australasia, and the second regional NSW voco property, to the Central Coast. This is our first development in the region as well as our first hotel project which marks a significant milestone not just for us, but for the region.”
Featuring 130 guest rooms inspired by the relaxed coastal spirit of the Central Coast, the interiors of voco Gosford are heavily influenced by its location with a colour palette featuring pops of aqua blues, earthly ochres, eucalyptus greens and sunshine yellow.
The hotel is set to become the place to meet for locals and travellers alike with six unique F&B venues, offering all-day dining that includes a modern Australian-style gastro-pub, signature restaurant led by renowned Sydney chef Dany Karam, a swim up pool bar, and the Central Coast’s only rooftop bar with sky high views over Brisbane Water.
