Envoyage has launched the FCTG independent division’s annual summit in Cairns under the theme “Rise”, which a call for travel professionals to rise to the challenge, backing themselves to build stronger businesses and shape the future of travel.
In opening the event, new Australia director of operations Lisa Zahra told the hundreds of Envoyage members, global and regional leaders and industry partners that attendees will leave with new ideas, deeper product knowledge, and clear growth objectives tailored to their individual business models, markets, and client segments.
“Our industry, in fact, is best when we work together and we rise together,” she said at the Reef to Rainforest welcome event at Boardwalk Social on the Cairns waterfront last night.
“You’re going to hear a lot more about Rise over the coming weekend, over the conference, but it is really important that we rise as a community, and this is your community. Have a look around. It’s massive!”
She was joined by Astrid Richardson who has taken direct ownership of the Australian market.
The principal brand within Flight Centre Travel Group’s (ASX:FLT) independent division, the Envoyage global network consists of more than 3,000 independent travel entrepreneurs across the USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
