Still caught up in the glamour and excitement of the Oscars?

We are.

In fact, we’ve set up a mini red carpet in the office for our office dog to prance across.

If you’re like us, then you might like this list of Set-Jetting trips Trafalgar has put together where you can go check out the locations of the latest blockbusters.

The trips give travellers the opportunity to explore the sets of all the films that stared in this year’s awards season.

I, Tonya – Portland Oregan

See Tonya Harding’s hometown of Portland, Oregon on Adventure’s in the Wild Northwest.

The place where Tonya began and ended her skating career, endured her tough upbringing and toxic romance actually unveils an array of natural beauty, as well as decadent local wine and craft beer.

Call me by your name – Northern Italy

Brody-Call-Me-By-Your-Name

Call Me By Your Name depicts some of Italy’s most stunning lakeside locations with sunshine and fresh summer fruits in abundance.

Trafalgar’s Best of Italian Lakes takes guests on a sojourn through the beautiful lakeside villages set against the foothill of the alps and visits the picturesque Lake Garda and Bergamo city, where some of the most idyllic scenes of this multi-nominated film were set and where Elio and Oliver fell in love.

Taking out four Golden Globes including Best Motion Picture – Drama, this black comedy crime film was shot in North Carolina where Trafalgar takes its guests on Heart of the South with the Great Smoky Mountains.

A trip that encapsulates the heart of the South from Atlanta through to Louisville, Kentucky – with plenty of bourbon and bluegrass along the way.

Travellers will visit some of the most historic battlefields in Europe on WWI and WWII Battlefields during this poignant Special Interest trip.

Here, you can get an insight into the largest evacuation effort in military history and experience the very place where many scenes of the eight-time Golden Globe-nominated Dunkirk was filmed.

The Post – New York and Washington

Travellers will cover the top spots of the East Coast, where the political dramas of the Washington Post and New York Times unfolded on Trafalgar’s Great East Coast Cities.

This leisurely jaunt through the hearth and home of sophisticated socialites and the American establishment journeys across East Coast and traces the footsteps of Kay Graham and Ben Bradlee, from the halls of Washington to the bright lights of New York, Newport’s opulence and the beer brewing traditions of Boston.

Skellig Michael, an island off Ireland’s south-west coast – otherwise known as Luke Skywalker’s hide-out (ACH-to) can be best reached via County Kerry where further scenes of the trilogy were filmed along with County Donegal.

On Trafalgar’s Amazing Ireland, guests will visit County Donegal for two days exploring “The Diamond” as the city centre is known.

Mama Mia: Here we go again – Croatia

Despite being set in the mythical Greek Island of Kalokairi, the stunning seaside scenes from the movie were filmed in Croatia on the Island of Vis – situated in the Adriatic Sea off the Dalmatian Coast.

On Trafalgar’s Balkan Delight, guests will meander along the azure shores of the Adriatic and pass old fishing villages and modern resorts, before arriving in the vibrant city of Split – the best vantage point to get to Vis, and with a free day in Split – Mamma Mia lovers can get more than Just One Look of this picturesque Island.
