Outback Spirit has announced extra departure dates for 2025 and 2026, plus Earlybird savings of $1,440 per person for its Tasmanian Wilderness Explorer.
Outback Spirit offers an amazing tour of Tasmania, with departures in October and November 2025 and then from January through until April 2026. Departing from Hobart, guests travel in 5-star comfort aboard a Mercedes Benz coach while taking in the wonders of the Apple Isles. The small group 12-day Tasmanian Tour includes accommodation, all meals, all attractions, and a 2-person crew.
Tasmania is known for its World Heritage national parks, fascinating colonial history, rich Aboriginal culture and fine fresh produce. From the mountainous region of Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair to the white sandy beaches and rocky shores of Freycinet National Park, there’s an unspoiled natural wonder at every turn. Guests can discover stories from the convict era and explore World Heritage convict sites, cruise the wild Gordon River, breathe the cleanest air in the world at Cape Grim and discover the Waldheim Chalet at Dove Lake.
“I encourage you to discover the hidden gem that is Tasmania; our Tasmanian Wilderness Explorer offers a different kind of wild beauty – a sanctuary of breathtaking mountain ranges, ancient rainforests, glacial lakes and alpine peaks,” Outback Spirit executive general manager Jacquie Burnside said.
“Here, Cradle Mountain majestically rises above a pristine landscape, inviting travellers to slow down and immerse themselves in nature. Experience all this and more; it is a paradise for wilderness lovers.”
