Luxury cruise specialist Panache Cruises has appointed Juliana Nasmith as head of sales and operations for Australia as the company prepares to launch in the market this May.

Nasmith brings more than 25 years of travel industry experience to the role, most recently driving cruise growth at Helloworld Travel and Luxury Escapes.

Panache Cruises said Nasmith’s commercial expertise and deep knowledge of the luxury cruise sector made her the standout candidate to lead the company’s expansion into Australia.

The UK-based company is making a six-figure investment in the Australian market and is currently establishing a Sydney office. Plans are also underway to build a local team of around 10 staff as the brand brings its luxury cruise service proposition to the region.

Australia marks the latest stage in Panache Cruises’ global expansion strategy, building on its established presence in the UK and US. Canada is also on the company’s roadmap as it continues to scale internationally.

The business said the move reflects the strong growth potential it sees in the Australian luxury cruise market.
