Paradise Cruises has launched Paradise Legacy, a new 42-cabin luxury cruise ship which it says is set to redefine luxury cruising in Halong Bay.

The modern steel vessel blends contemporary elegance with the rich heritage of Tonkin. Features include the Elegance Restaurant, the connecting Delight Lounge, a spacious sundeck and memeorable dining experiences, all offering an unparalleled journey through the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Passengers arrive on Tuan Chau island and begin their cruise with a check-in process and a short briefing while sipping a welcome drink before embarking on the opening 2-day, 1-night journey.

Then it’s time to enjoy lunch at Elegance Restaurant while Paradise Legacy passes by beautiful islets of Halong Bay. Also included in the itinerary is a visit Titov Island, named after Russian cosmonaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov. Passengers can choose to either hike the mountain to get an overview of Halong Bay or swim at the beach on the island.

Next up is a visit to Tung Sau pearl farm where guests have the chance to explore the process of pearl cultivation or, alternatively, experience kayaking.

At sunset, Paradise Legacy will anchor, the perfect time to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea, Happy Hour* (buy 1 get 1 free from 17:15 to 18:45), and a cooking demonstration then enjoy fine dining.

After dinner, indulge in drinks and a live band or enjoy boardgame in Delight Lounge. For the more adventurous, they can join the squid fishing at the back of the boat.

Boost the energy for a new day with a Tai Chi session at Grand Sundeck and enjoy a light breakfast with freshly baked pastries, coffee and tea at Elegance Restaurant.

Excursions on day 2 include a visit to Me Cung Cave a place rich in historical and cultural significance. Inside the cave opens up an ancient world, leading visitors into a magnificent
underground palace.

The final day’s breakfast is served at Elegance Restaurant while the cruise passes by Thien Cung and Dau Go Cave and the Fighting Cock Islet. If you need to connect, Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant/bar area, but internet connectivity is limited due to the geography of the bay.

Guests can then take in the astonishing views of Halong Bayenjoy from Delight Lounge as Paradise Legacy makes it’s way back to Tuan Chau Marina.
