Melbourne’s premier airport hotel, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, has revealed an extensive multi-million-dollar refurbishment to further enhance its appeal as the ultimate gateway for domestic and international travellers, and elevate its offering as a business event destination.

As the only hotel directly connected to the domestic and international terminals via an undercover pedestrian skybridge, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport’s extensive revitalisation will transform the traditional ‘in transit’ experience.

Guestrooms – spacious and serene, the newly refurbished guest rooms are designed for comfort, showcasing a muted colour palette inspired by Australian lifestyles and nature. Every piece of furniture will be custom designed using plush fabrics alongside luminous metal finishes. Modern daybed lounges provide the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the view in comfort. To improve each room’s functionality, luggage access, hanging space, and the minibar offering will all be enhanced.

Airo Restaurant and Bar – the renovation includes a patterned, gridded ceiling and a range of seating zones and social spaces which provide guests with the option to engage and connect, or retreat and unwind in a warm, comfortable environment.

Event spaces – the 300-seat ballroom and extensive suite of 14 meeting rooms will receive a sophisticated makeover which exudes understated formality via muted colour palettes and tailored furniture and fabrics.
