PassportCard will deliver a presentation on Aussie travel trends, including how the Middle East conflict impacted travel, in the Australian Travel Industry Association’s (ATIA) upcoming Beyond Borders on the Road (BBOTR) event.

PassportCard is a major sponsor of the event, which will take place in Perth on 22 July.

Aside from the Middle East conflict, Passport Card will also discuss from where Australians are travelling, to how they’re planning travel and attitudes towards travel advisors. PassportCard’s session will give tour operators, travel advisors and corporate travel businesses an overview of travel trends.

“We’re excited to be sponsoring BBOTR Perth and sharing our expertise to equip attendees with a deeper understanding of current travel trends.” PassportCard chief executive officer Peter Klemt said. “The market is changing, and we’re sharing the knowledge to help attendees’ businesses thrive.”

ATIA announced last week that the BBOTR event in Perth as well as the one in Adelaide sold out already.

“It’s fantastic to see so many ATIA members supporting BBOTR, and the strong attendance reflects the effort that ATIA and our sponsors have put into ensuring the content is timely,” ATIA chief executive officer Dean Long said. “BBOTR also brings significant networking opportunities and thought leadership to each city ahead of the Beyond Borders Summit in Melbourne.”

Travel advisors can now purchase tickets to the upcoming Beyond Borders Summit and National Travel Industry Awards (NTIAs) weekend in Melbourne kicking off on 09 October.
