Peter Smith has joined McLachlan Travel Group today in the position of General Manager McLachlan Tours.
Peter’s extensive background in travel includes senior positions with Travel Corporation brands, including Insight and Contiki, as well as Zuji and Octopus Travel and most recently Creative Cruising and eWaterways.
Peter said that he is delighted to join the McLachlan team, and is eager to grow the company’s brands, particularly Mat McLachlan Battlefield Tours, McLachlan Experiences and Discover Asia as well as introducing new and exciting product innovations.
Group Chairman Gil McLachlan said “Peter’s experience will provide further impetus to the business’s thriving touring brands and free up key staff to concentrate on their areas of expertise.”
