The 2022 Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) kicked off yesterday with a celebration of the tourism and travel industry which began with a Welcome to Country from Aunty Margret.

The trade show floor was abuzz with appointments, showcasing exciting product developments, solidifying new and existing relationships and stimulating future business opportunities.

Outside of appointments, the trade show floor was filled with the Aviation Hub, Solutions Hub, and State and Territory cafes.

Those who attended enjoyed a lunch hosted by Tourism Australia and heard from its managing director Phillipa Harrison.

Alongside the sessions was the Sustainable Aviation Data Science Competition held by Aviation Program at ATE Live, UNSW, Cirium and Tourism Australia.

There was also a welcome event held last night at Watersedge at Campbell’s Stores and an after-party at The Squire’s Landing.
