PRECISION, the travel-specialist fraud prevention solution of the Etraveli Group, has signed a strategic agreement with Sabre Corporation, a leading software and technology provider powering the global travel industry.

The partnership combines PRECISION’s advanced fraud intelligence with Sabre’s global distribution scale and payment innovation, to deliver a seamless and more secure booking experience. By embedding real‑time risk decisioning into Sabre Direct Pay, travel sellers can approve more genuine bookings, reduce false declines and chargebacks, and lower operational costs, all without adding friction at checkout.

With PRECISION’s proven expertise across multi‑billion‑dollar transaction volumes globally and Sabre’s connectivity, the collaboration empowers travel merchants to protect revenue while accelerating fulfilment and maintaining traveller trust.

“With Sabre, we’re bringing travel-specific fraud prevention where it’s needed – at the core of airline and agency operations,” Etraveli Group chief fintech officer Peny Rizou said. “Born from travel and built on 25 years of Etraveli Group expertise, PRECISION is designed specifically for our industry and is uniquely attuned to its complexities and vulnerabilities. Together, we’re expanding access to solutions that are made for travel and strengthening the resilience of the entire ecosystem.”

Under the agreement, Sabre offers access to PRECISION to travel merchants across business models and geographies, airlines, OTAs, consolidators, TMCs, and other sellers, via a streamlined commercial and technical integration.

Sabre Direct Pay-connected travel suppliers benefit from the integration of PRECISION’s advanced fraud prevention capabilities directly within their payment workflows. PRECISION leverages next-generation fraud detection technology featuring a dynamic fraud engine powered by advanced machine learning models, adaptive algorithms, and real-time insights trained on millions of travel-specific data points.

It delivers unmatched accuracy and speed of decisioning to help travel merchants identify and stop fraud in real time. Its holistic approach goes beyond fraud losses, optimizing approval rates, conversion, and customer experience while safeguarding margins and long-term payment performance.

“At Sabre, we know that payment complexity and fraud risk are two of the biggest barriers to growth in travel,” Sabre Payments managing director Patricio Boccardo said. “By integrating PRECISION’s real-time fraud prevention into Sabre Direct Pay, we’re giving agencies and suppliers a smarter way to manage transactions – enhancing security, reducing fraud losses, and protecting revenue without adding unnecessary friction.”

According to industry estimates, online fraud costs the travel sector over $21 billion annually. The integration of PRECISION within Sabre Direct Pay enables travel sellers to perform real-time fraud checks at booking, helping reduce losses and strengthen payment security across global markets. This reinforces Etraveli Group’s mission to shape the future of travel through innovation, technology, and trusted global collaborations.
