Princess Cruises is giving Aussie advisors a chance to experience one of its iconic Alaska experiences as the 2028 season launches, with a series of axe throwing events taking place across Australia.

From August 25-27, the events will offer destination updates, Alaskan food and drinks, an axe-throwing competition and a chance to learn more about the latest Alaska booking incentives on offer.

The cruise line is launching an incentive in partnership with EVA Air and Washington State Tourism. Ten travel advisors can secure a place on a co-hosted Alaska famil, Alaska famil, including return flights, Seattle accommodation and a seven-night cruise aboard Star Princess in May of 2027.

To enter, advisors need to:

  • Book an eligible Princess Alaska cruise during the incentive period (16 August – 12 October 2026) and
  • In 25 words or less, tell Princess what excites them most about cruising Alaska with Princess.

Axe-throwing events

Princess Cruises senior director sales & marketing, Nick Ferguson, said the events were designed to bring one of the world’s most iconic cruise destinations to life for the trade.

“For nearly 60 years, Princess has been helping guests experience the very best of Alaska, making it a destination that’s truly part of our DNA. We wanted to give our valued travel partners a taste of that adventure before their clients even step onboard,” said Ferguson.

“These events are designed to bring the spirit of Alaska to life in a fun and memorable way, while giving agents the chance to earn a place on one of our Princess Alaska famil sailings.

“We know the best advocates are those who’ve experienced the destination firsthand, and we’re excited to help more agents discover why a Princess Alaska cruise is one of the world’s most unforgettable holiday experiences.”

The axe-throwing roadshow will visit:

  • Brisbane: Tuesday 25 August | 6:30pm-9:30pm | Maniax Brisbane CBD
  • Adelaide: Tuesday 25 August | 5:30pm-8:30pm | Project Break, Dry Creek
  • Sydney: Wednesday 26 August | 6:30pm-9:30pm | Maniax Marrickville
  • Perth: Wednesday 26 August | 6:30pm-9:30pm | Maniax Northbridge
  • Melbourne: Thursday 27 August | 6:30pm-9:30pm | Maniax Melbourne CBD

Travel advisors are encouraged to contact their Princess Cruises business development manager to register their interest, with places limited.
