Accor’s Pullman brand will make its North American debut with the launch of the Pullman Miami Airport which takes over from the Sofitel Miami.

The property is currently undergoing a transformation designed to enhance its appeal for international business and leisure travellers under its new Pullman moniker.

“I am proud to announce the first Pullman hotel in North America as we ramp up development of the AccorHotels portfolio in the region,” chief executive hotel services North America, Centra; America and Caribbean Christophe Alaux said.

“The arrival of the brand signals our ambition to grow in North America as we forge ahead with the expansion of our hotel brands over the next couple of years.”

The expansion of its luxury and upscale portfolio is a major focus for the French hotel giant, with Pullman playing an important role. There are currently more than 95 four and five-star Pullman hotels around the world.

“Pullman has an incredible global presence in the upscale market, and we are certain that the brand will continue to experience great success as it enters new markets worldwide,” Alaux said.
