Qantas appoints new EVP for its Americas region

Oronzo Miccoli has been announced as the new executive vice president for Qantas in the Americas.

Miccoli will be overseeing the commercial, financial and operational performance of the airline in the U.S, Canada and South America.

In his new role, Miccoli will be responsible for the commercial, financial and operational performance of Qantas in the U.S., Canada and South America.

Miccoli has been with Qantas since 2019, most recently he was the carrier’s head of sales planning, performance and finance.

At the end of 2022, Qantas launched its new Melbourne – Dallas direct service. The airline also plans to resume the San Francisco – Sydney route in coming weeks as well as launch services from New York to Sydney (via Auckland).

Qantas aims to service 50 flights per week between the United States and Australia using both Boeing 787 Dreamliner’s and Airbus A380 aircraft.
