Qantas celebrates border restrictions easing with new promotion

Qantas has launched a new promotion in celebration of border restrictions easing that will see customers win the value of their booking back when they purchase flights.

The ‘Together, Once More’ promotion will see one in 100 customers who register receive a Qantas Travel Pass loaded with the equivalent dollars or points used in their original booking.

To enter, customers need to make an Australian domestic flight booking by 22 November 2020 and then register their booking here. The prize is awarded after the initial flight is flown.

The promotion comes as more and more Aussies book travel to reunite with loved ones separated by border restrictions.

It also follows Qantas’ announcement of a major expansion of its network from the nation’s capital, with three new routes commencing in the next month from Canberra.

Since state and territory border restrictions eased in September, Qantas has announced nine new routes across Australia – the greatest number of new routes launched by the airline in a two-month period in its 100-year history.

With border restrictions continuing to ease, Qantas anticipates operating approximately 50 per cent of its domestic network by Christmas.

Meanwhile, the flying kangaroo’s low-cost airline brand has created a ‘Kids Fly and Stay Free Uluru Holiday Package’, available only at Jetstar.com and exclusively to travellers based in Sydney and Brisbane.

Not only will kids be able to fly for free, but their accommodation is on Jetstar too, with the inclusion of three nights at either the 4.5-star hotel Sails in the Desert or the four-star Emu Walk Apartments.

For Sydneysiders, prices start from $758 per adult for flights and accommodation, and from $738 per adult for those flying from Brisbane.

Travel dates for this package are in December 2020 and January to March 2021, and the deal ends at 11:59pm (AEDT) on Thursday 12 November 2020, unless sold out prior.
