Qantas has announced new enhancements supporting the 1 July 2025 launch of its new distribution model, unlocking more benefits in premium NDC for agency partners.
The new NDC support reinforces the airline’s investment in modern distribution and commitment to improving servicing for agency partners. These updates are designed to make it easier for agency partners to manage Qantas NDC bookings, with more visibility of technical issues, clearer information on workarounds and faster access to support. These include:
Live Assist: a new live chat feature that connects agents directly to the Qantas Agency Connect team for real-time NDC booking support
Booking & technical support: 24/7 access to self-service resources, troubleshooting guides and real-time updates on NDC developments
Contact us form: A quick and easy way to report technical issues and receive expert support and resolution
The airline has also increased resourcing in the Qantas Agency Connect team, with additional consultants joining to help meet a surge in demand and provide a more timely, personalised support.
“Servicing has been a key focus for us, and these updates reflect the feedback we’ve received from our trade partners,” Qantas executive manager global sales and distribution, Kathryn Robertson, said. “These tools and resources will help them manage NDC bookings effectively and deliver and exceptional experience for customers.”
From 1 May 2025, Expressions of Interest will open for agencies to join Premium NDC, the airline’s most comprehensive indirect content offering, which includes:
Access to Qantas’ widest range of NDC content, with no distribution surcharge on Qantas NDC bookings regardless of Certified Technology Partner
Lower domestic NDC fares when compared to Standard NDC and all published NDC sale fares
Complimentary standard seat selection from Bronze Frequent Flyers on NDC booking
