Qantas has released over one million discounted airfares for flights across Australia and to North America.

Flights to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Vancouver and Honolulu from most Australian capital cities are on sale. Fares start from $999 return Melbourne to Honolulu.

The sale includes fares on the airline’s new Sydney-Auckland-New York routes, which started last week.

Domestic flights are discounted on average, 30 per cent from the normal lead in fares on over 120 Qantas and QantasLink domestic and regional routes and start from $99 one way.

Discounts vary from route to route and selected travel dates and days apply.

Some of the Economy sales fares (starting from) include:

  • Cairns to Melbourne $249
  • Sydney to Townsville $209
  • Gold Coast to Sydney $119
