In true Christmas spirit, the Flying Kangaroo (or flying reindeer, in this instance) has revealed two Christmas-themed aircraft that will give travellers double Frequent Flyer points until the end of December.
QantasLink’s Q400 (Dasher-8) and a 737 (Roo-dolph) can both be spotted with red sleighs and kangaroos on their liveries. Dasher-8 rolled out of the Brisbane hangar yesterday decorated in Christmas livery to mark the start of the festive season, while customers travelling on Roo-dolph will start their journey with Christmas carols being played throughout boarding and a festive seatback screen.
Qantas has also launched a Christmas sale for Australians to book their next getaway, with sale fares available on almost every domestic route.
Domestic economy sale fares start from $109 one-way, with more than 40 routes on sale for under $150 during a range of travel periods between January to September 2024.
The sale fares are available for a limited time until Tuesday 12 December 2023 (AEDT) via Qantas’ website and travel agents.
Qantas fares include checked baggage, complimentary food and beverages, free Wi-Fi and seat selection.
Customers still holding a Qantas COVID credit can use their credit on these sale fares and get double Qantas Points.
