Qatar Airways has resumed double-daily passenger services to Abu Dhabi, expanding its UAE operations to three destinations alongside existing services to Dubai and Sharjah.
The move is part of the airline’s ongoing recovery following severe disruption caused by the Iran war, which broke out on 28 February. Prior to the conflict, Qatar Airways served more than 170 destinations; as of mid-April it was operating around 139 daily departures from Doha to more than 120 destinations, with a revised schedule extending to more than 150 destinations from 16 June.
The Abu Dhabi resumption follows the airline’s recent announcement of new services to Baghdad, Basra and Erbil in Iraq, as well as restored daily flights to Bahrain, Damascus and Kozhikode. Qatar Airways said it is continuing a phased restoration of its global network across six continents.
Passengers with travel dates between 28 February and 15 September 2026 remain eligible for complimentary date changes to a new travel date up to 31 October 2026, or a refund of the unused ticket value. Refunds may take up to 28 working days to process.
Agents are advised to check the Qatar Airways website or app regularly and ensure client contact details are kept up to date. Flight schedules remain subject to change or cancellation.
