Railbookers has introduced its new Stay and Explore Collection designed for travellers who want to experience more of Europe without frequently changing hotels.
These 11 itineraries are built around extended stays in one central city with curated day trips to surrounding destinations and mark the latest expansion of Railbookers’ European portfolio.
“We developed the Stay and Explore Collection in response to guest feedback and demand – for travellers seeking a diverse array of experiences while returning to the comfort and convenience of the same hotel each night,” Railbookers Group senior vice president of product Andrew Channell said.
“These trips feature expertly-selected daytime experiences and allow our guests to immerse themselves in the culture of iconic European cities by night.”
At launch, the Stay and Explore Collection includes itineraries that feature the following hub cities with hotel stays of two nights or more: London, England; Avignon, Lyon, Paris, and Reims, France; Munich, Germany; Rome, Florence, and Venice, Italy; Edinburgh and Inverness, Scotland; Barcelona, Spain; and Zurich, Switzerland.
Included experiences feature palace and castle visits, culinary tours and wine tastings, explorations of ancient ruins and historic architecture, and excursions to the smaller cities and towns that showcase authentic European life.
Most day trips include short train rides from each hub city, and all Stay and Explore itineraries can be tailored to each guest’s desires by adding nights, activities, or destinations within the trip, or combining with other Railbookers journeys.
The full collection of Stay and Explore trips can be found on the website.
