Railbookers has unveiled an expanded “Around the World by Luxury Train” collection for 2026 which includes four new itineraries ranging from 29 to 48 days aboard luxurious trains.
In total, 11 different iconic luxury train routes are highlighted in the 2026 collection, along with new hotels, sightseeing activities, and additional touches which create the ultimate bucket-list experience.

The Around the World by Luxury Train trip, which features eight iconic luxury train routes across the globe, commences in Vancouver on 2 September 2026. This 60-day trip takes guests through the Rocky Mountaineer before enjoying scenic Banff, then heads to the United Kingdom. There, in between stays in Edinburgh and London, they can enjoy the Grand Suite onboard the Belmond Royal Scotsman as well as the newly-debuted Britannic Explorer.
This is followed by a flight to Italy for the classic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express to Paris, along with the cross-continental journey on the vaunted train to Istanbul. A flight takes guests to Delhi, where they spend six nights enjoying the culture and cuisine of India onboard the Maharajas’ Express, before flying to South Africa. There, guests can enjoy epic experiences onboard Rovos Rail as well as a 3-night stay at the Kruger Shalati “train on the bridge” hotel. They then fly to Singapore to complete their once-in-a-lifetime trip with a three-night journey on the Eastern & Oriental Express.
