Travel DAZE has kicked off this morning to a whopping big crowd, all gathering to hear the industry’s finest speak on the future of travel and how we can all prepare for the apocalypse.
From Intrepid’s MD James Thornton to the Tourism Minister Senator Richard Colbeck himself, Travel DAZE is certainly no tea party, it’s a cracking showcase!
Record crowds of over 200 delegates, speakers and sponsors have braved the cooler weather (and donned their rain jackets) to fill up the Belvoir St Theatre in Surry Hills to hear the industry’s hottest tips for safeguarding and innovating their businesses to succeed in the future.
“It’s quite an exciting time in this sector for the next decade,” Senator Colbeck said.
“It took the industry a little while to get a Tourism Minster back, but as Malcolm would say, there’s never been a more exciting time for tourism, and I hope to take the job back post the second of July.”
And the masses are already sharing what they’ve learned this morning:

Travel DAZE was a Misfits Media Company event that shakes off the shackles of a death-by-powerpoint type presentation and gives us an inside look into what the industry can expect in the future, and of course how to prepare for it.
