Regent Seven Seas breaks bookings record with 2022/23 Voyage Collection

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has had its biggest day of bookings in the line’s 28-year history, thanks to the launch of its new 2022-23 Voyage Collection.

When sales opened for the new collection on 22 October, reservations overtook the lines previous booking day record, set in April 2018 with the launch of Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural season, by nearly 40 per cent, proving a strong pent up demand for luxury cruising.

While all destinations experienced interest, cruises in Africa, Asia, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe – the Baltics in particular – were notably popular.

The 2022-2023 Voyage Collection launch also saw an over 100 per cent increase in bookings from when the line’s 2021-2022 Voyage Collection went on sale in August 2019.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises had surpassed the total number of bookings for the previous year’s launch within two hours.

“Luxury travellers simply cannot wait to get back on the oceans to see the world again, while enjoying impeccable, personalised service on luxurious and spacious ships,” said Jason Montague, president and CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

“Our loyal guests wasted no time in securing their perfect itinerary and suite, with last year’s Voyage Collection launch day total eclipsed after only 90 minutes of being on sale.”

The collection of 148 sailings from April 2022 to the end of April 2023, boasts 17 maiden ports of call for the line and 105 overnight visits.

Travellers will have access to over 350 UNESCO World Heritage Sites across thousands of free shore excursions on cruises to Africa and Arabia, Alaska, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Canada and New England, the Caribbean and Panama Canal, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and South America, as well as transoceanic crossings and five Grand Voyages.

“We would like to thank our valued travel advisors. Without their support, the triumphant launch of the 2022-2023 Voyage Collection, vastly exceeding our previous booking records, simply would not have been possible,” Montague said.

The record bookings day follows hot on the heels of Regent’s recent record-breaking launch day for its 2023 World Cruise, where reservations doubled that of the 2022 World Cruise launch.
