Regent Seven Seas Cruises has celebrated its biggest single booking day for the launch of a brand-new ship.
Bookings exceeded Regent’s previous record new ship launch day by 26 per cent. The previous record was set in 2018 when Seven Seas Splendor went on sale.
The Skyview Regent Suite, starting at AU$40,000 (NZ$44,000) per suite per night, sold out on six of 13 available sailings in its inaugural season. This is the best performance of a top-tier product the cruise line has ever seen on an opening day.
“I’m thrilled, but not surprised, by the phenomenal results that Seven Seas Prestige has produced,” said Jason Montague, Regent’s chief luxury officer. “We knew luxury travelers were eager to reserve their suite on this incredible ship.”
“Seven Seas Prestige promises to begin a new legacy for the ultra-luxury cruise sector. We cannot wait for her to join the fleet in December 2026. I thank our valued guests, Travel Partners, and Regent’s talented teams worldwide who helped achieve this.”
Set for delivery in late 2026, Seven Seas Prestige marks a new legacy for Regent. It is the brand’s first new ship class in a decade. Built by Fincantieri, the 77,000-ton vessel is 40 per cent larger than previous ships but accommodates just 10 per cent more guests. It will host 822 guests with 630 crew, offering exceptional space and service.
All suites have balconies and come in 12 categories. Four are new designs, including the two-level Skyview Suites and the 817m² Skyview Regent Suite — the largest all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruise ship suite in history.
Guests will enjoy The Most Inclusive Luxury Experience. This includes unlimited shore excursions, fine wines and spirits, valet laundry, Starlink Wi-Fi, and cuisine across seven specialty restaurants and 11 dining experiences. One new option is Azure, a mezze-style Mediterranean concept.
The ship’s inaugural season offers 13 voyages across the Caribbean and Europe. It visits boutique ports like Cartagena and St. Lucia, with multiple overnight stays in port.
Seven Seas Prestige – A New Legacy Begins
Seven Seas Prestige is set to be delivered in late 2026. It follows the success of Regent’s Explorer-Class vessels, also built by Fincantieri. It is Regent’s first new ship class in 10 years.
At 77,000 tons, it carries 822 guests and 630 dedicated crew. The ship offers one of the highest space-to-guest and crew-to-guest ratios in the industry. With a crew-to-guest ratio of 1:1.31, the ship is 40 per cent larger than previous Regent ships but only carries 10 per cent more guests. This creates truly unrivalled space at sea.
The all-balcony suites mark a new era of ultra-luxury accommodation. There are 12 distinctive categories, including four all-new types:
The Skyview Regent Suite — the largest all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruise ship suite ever
Two-level Skyview Suites with private terrace decks and in-suite elevators
Contemporary Grand Loft Suites with soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows
Horizon Penthouse Suites with expansive balconies for al fresco living
Elegant public spaces and lounges complement the suites. These include the Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar. Dining options include Azure, a new mezze-style Mediterranean concept, plus six other specialty restaurants. There are 11 dining experiences in total.
The ship further elevates The Most Inclusive Luxury Experience. This includes:
Unlimited shore excursions at every port
Gourmet cuisine in specialty and al fresco venues
Fine wines and spirits
Onboard entertainment
Starlink Wi-Fi
Valet laundry service
Pre-paid gratuities
A one-night pre-cruise hotel package for Concierge-level suites and above
