A Celestyal Cruises restructure has resulted in the departure of regional manager Stewart Williams.

“We sincerely thank him for his six years of service and for the valued partnerships he built with our agent community,” the line said in statement.

“We remain fully committed to meeting the needs of our trade partners seamlessly. In the interim, agents are asked to direct any inquiries to Mary Williams, business development manager or Janet Parton, VP business development, who are ready to assist.

“We are in the final stages of confirming our new structure and will provide further details in the coming days. Our team is dedicated to upholding the high standards agents have come to expect, and we appreciate their patience and continued trust in Celestyal during this transition.”

As recently as September, Williams was hosting media at an event at the Sydney Opera House alongside chief commercial officer Lee Haslett who was in from the UK, VP for business development Janet Parton, and local BDM Mary Williams.

Williams confirmed his departure on LinkedIn.

“Yes, my contract with Celestyal Cruises has now ended…” he posted.

“It’s been a wonderful journey, and I have enjoyed the last 6 years working with the fantastic Celestyal team. Over this time, we have been able to significantly increase our Distribution Partners out of the Australasian market, with the Celestyal Product and Brand Recognition growth being far more substantial now than ever before.

“Personally, I am extremely proud of the profound contribution I was able to make to this dramatic increase. A sincere thank you to the CEO, Chris Theophilides for his incredible leadership and unbelievable support, especially during covid19. And, also to my colleague and friend, Marios Polydorou who originally contracted me.

“I would encourage everyone to look at their portfolio of Celestyal Cruising product; as the itineraries, food, service and facilities are truly outstanding, and exceptional value for money. My sincerest best wishes to you all and happy sailing…”
