Resplendent Ceylon has announced the launch of its ‘Private Escape Offer’ at Ceylon Tea Trails, inviting guests to indulge in a fully inclusive, private retreat in Sri Lanka’s Central Highlands.
Nestled amidst misty mountains, lush emerald tea fields, and serene lake views, Ceylon Tea Trails offers an exceptional escape into the heart of Sri Lanka’s storied tea country. This luxurious retreat combines natural beauty, warm hospitality, and rich cultural heritage, delivering a one-of-a-kind experience.
Available through 19 December 2025, the Private Escape Offer allows guests to reserve an entire five-bedroom bungalow at a rate of US$4,835 (around AU$7,571) per night for up to six guests, including all meals and drinks, the services of a private chef and personal butler, a complimentary tour of the Dunkeld Tea Factory, and a scenic one-way seaplane transfer to the resort for a seamless arrival experience.
For groups larger than six, additional guests are welcome at a rate of US$303 (around AU$474) per adult and US$120 (around AU$187) per child per night, ensuring extended families and friends can enjoy the experience together.
The stay also includes the Junior Tea Planter programme – an engaging and educational hands-on activity designed to introduce younger guests to the fascinating world of tea-making, right from the leaf to the cup.
Ceylon Tea Trails is the world’s first tea bungalow resort, located on the working estates of Sri Lanka’s premier tea producer and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It offers guests a rare chance to connect with the island’s tea legacy while enjoying Resplendent Ceylon’s renowned service and hospitality.
Resplendent Ceylon chair Malik Fernando said, “We restored these historic tea planter bungalows to offer guests a blend of old-world charm and modern luxury. Our aim is to provide an authentic and intimate experience that celebrates the beauty and heritage of Sri Lanka’s tea country.”
Whether celebrating a milestone occasion or seeking a secluded holiday with loved ones, the Resplendent Ceylon team is dedicated to crafting personalised experiences – from curated gourmet dining to bespoke excursions – ensuring each stay is truly memorable.
