Ride the World Motorcycle Tours has launched the Global Motorcycle Touring Network (GMTN) to unite and elevate the motorcycle touring industry.

Founded by travel industry veterans and motorcycle enthusiasts, David Reeves and Walter Nand, GMTN is set to bring together the world’s top independent motorcycle touring operators under one trusted network.

With a commitment to professionalism, safety, and ethical business practices, GMTN aims to create a global alliance where tour operators work together to uphold industry standards,
support each other and provide motorcyclists with unforgettable experiences on two wheels. The network ensures that only legally operating, fully insured, and highly reputable companies
are part of the membership, giving riders peace of mind when booking their next adventure.

Walter Nand has been elected as the official GMTN Coordinator, overseeing the network’s growth and facilitating collaboration among members. Along with Ride the World Motorcycle
Tours and Ride the World Australia, the network’s initial membership includes Freedom Biker Tours (Canada), D Tours (UK and Northern Europe), iRideArusha (Tanzania) and Satoshi Rides (Japan) with more trusted operators expected to join in the coming months.

“The launch of GMTN marks a significant milestone in the motorcycle touring industry,” Walter Nand said. “By bringing together operators who share a passion for adventure, safety, and exceptional service, we are creating a trusted network that benefits both tour providers and riders alike.”

GMTN highlights

  • A Trusted Seal of Approval: Riders can confidently book tours knowing that GMTN members operate legally, hold proper insurance, and adhere to high standards.
  • Industry Collaboration: Members work together, sharing best practices and supporting each other rather than competing unfairly.
  • Elevated Standards: GMTN ensures that all members provide professional, safe, and well-organized motorcycle touring experiences.
  • Global Reach: Through a unified network, members expand their reach and visibility, offering riders access to premium tours worldwide.

The Global Motorcycle Touring Network is actively welcoming applications from independent motorcycle tour operators who align with its values and commitment to excellence.
