Tales of the Star State inspired Sydney’s travel agents last night at the final city stop on Texas Tourism’s 2016 Australia/New Zealand Roadshow.

80 people were in attendance at the event held at the Australian Museum last night, where guests enjoyed drinks and canapés whilst mingling with Texan tourism partners and learning about the different characteristics of Texas’ seven regions.

Following a week of activity across Australia and New Zealand, Texas Tourism has not failed to inspire Aussie and Kiwi travellers for destinations offering a genuine, local travel experience that Texas has shown it has in abundance. Indeed, a large number of representatives were present last night sharing both travel advice and insights for the US State’s Tourism. Industry partners included Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau, Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau, Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau, Fredericksburg Convention & Visitor Bureau, Houston Airport System, Visit Houston, Visit San Antonio, Wildcatter Ranch and Texas Holiday Travel.

The Roadshow concludes today with a workshop event with Sydney wholesalers.
