Event planners located in Sydney are being invited to check out a new dining and bar venue complete with craft brewery located in an unlikely corner of the city.
This new offering is not located in the CBD, Potts Point, Surry Hills or any of the other usual suspects. Instead OTIS Grill is located in Campbelltown in the city’s southwest, part of the $700,000 transformation of the ground-floor entertainment area of the 4.5 star Rydges Campbelltown.
Complete with 360-bottle wine wall, quirky pieces of art and an outdoor terrace OTIS has capacity for 70 guests. Specialities include premium wagyu beef and also beer made by the in-house OTIS Brewing Company. Head brewer, Allan Barclay, has six unique beers on tap, with another four plus two ciders fermenting on the drawing board.
Rydges general manager Brett Barlow expected OTIS to become popular with the hotel’s many conference delegates, users of the adjacent Campbelltown Catholic Club and CUBE Convention and Entertainment Centre as well as Macarthur locals.
“We invite Sydneysiders and especially locals, including Picton, Camden and Liverpool, to come in and savour the sophisticated sanctuary we have crafted for people to relax in stylish ambience, feast on gourmet food and enjoy our chic cocktails, earthy brews and also live acoustic music on Friday & Sat nights,” he said.
Rydges Campbelltown also offers free wi-fi and parking, 116 luxury rooms, access to the neighbouring fitness centre and meeting space for 80 people with further conference facilities for up to 80 guests available at the adjacent CUBE Convention and Entertainment Centre. Campbelltown Golf Club is also nearby.
