Qantas is increasing the cost of its Qantas Club lounge program by an average of 15 per cent from next month, but you can save $100 if you get in quick.
The subscription-based Qantas Club Flexible plan will remain at $99, and automatically renews every 28 days until cancelled. A one-off joining fee of $129 (AUD/NZD) or 21,500 Qantas Points applies to all new Qantas Club memberships until 10 December 2025, but after that the joining fee increases to AU/NZ $149 from 12.01am (AEDT) 11 December 2025.
Qantas is also removing its four-year Qantas Club membership, which currently costs A$2,399, and now offers ony a one- or two-year membership.
“The prices of our Qantas Club (1- or 2-year membership) will increase,” the carrier confirmed. “We’re also removing our 4-year membership.
“There is no change to current memberships, and these changes will only apply to members who join or renew after 11 December 2025.”
From 11 December 2025, the following Qantas Club fees will apply:
- Qantas Club joining fee: now $129, rises to $149
- One-year membership fee: now $699, rises to $799
- Two-year membership fee: now $1,299, rises to $1,499
Old & new prices
Qantas Club members gain access to more than 20 domestic airport lounges, along with international Qantas lounges within Australia and overseas.
Qantas Club membership also includes a higher checked baggage allowance and points-based ‘on departure’ business class upgrade requests for domestic Qantas flights. Members can also invite one guest to join them in the Qantas lounge.
The national carrier has been upgrading lounges as part of a global refurbishment program, offering a significant investment in the premium travel experience.
