Scenic Eclipse II has achieved a new milestone in ultra-luxury discovery, with its custom-built submersible, Scenic Neptune II, completing its first dive in New Caledonia.

Guests experienced rare below-water perspectives at Tubou Reef off Amedee Island, including views of the historic La Dieppoise shipwreck. This is a former wooden naval vessel that rests on the seabed and is now surrounded by thriving marine life, creating an underwater moment few have experienced.

Designed for unrivalled immersion, Scenic Neptune II seats up to eight guests alongside an expert pilot and can journey up to 100 metres beneath the surface. Its near-spherical acrylic hull delivers expansive 360-degree panoramas, offering an extraordinary way to connect with New Caledonia’s underwater world.

Scenic Eclipse II creates a seamless, four-dimensional discovery experience, combining perspectives from below the water on board Scenic Neptune II, to on-water experiences by Zodiac, kayak and stand-up paddleboard. Guests can enjoy above-horizon perspectives from the two state-of-the-art on-board helicopters, guided by the specialist Discovery Team, with these layered perspectives creating a profound sense of connection with each destination.

Scenic Eclipse II is now cruising its final Oceania voyages before departing the region in March 2026, for the Mediterranean and the Baltics via the Caribbean. Guests still have time to secure an all-verandah suite on board for a close-to-home journey, from East Antarctica to New Caledonia, Fiji, Norfolk Island, French Polynesia and the Marquesas Islands.

The Scenic Discovery Yachts experience sets the benchmark in ultra-luxury cruising, with unrivalled inclusions across up to 10 world-class culinary experiences, premium beverages+ across up to nine bars and lounges, with spacious all-verandah suites with personalised butler service.

The expansive 550sqm Senses Spa with a dedicated Pilates studio and gym, expert-led Scenic Freechoice and Scenic Discovery excursions, combined with the two onboard helicopters and submersible, ensure deep immersion in every destination.
