Scenic Hotel Group has added the 21-room, four-star property Te Weheka Hotel in New Zealand to its West Coast collection.
The company has signed an exclusive Hotel Management Agreement with the new owners of the Te Weheka Hotel and has commenced management of the hotel.
The property sits against the dramatic backdrop of the Southern Alps and close to the famous Fox Glacier.
For travellers and trade partners, the transition of the property to Scenic Hotel Group ensures greater access via multiple platforms and agreements, underpinned by the company’s acclaimed reservations network, trusted service standards and deep knowledge of the South Island’s West Coast.
“Te Weheka Hotel has built a strong reputation for quality accommodation and genuine hospitality,” Scenic Hotel Group chief executive officer Karl Luxon said. “We look forward to building on that success while helping more travellers discover everything this remarkable part of New Zealand has to offer.”
The hotel will remain independently owned under a hotel management agreement. Guests can expect the same authentic West Coast welcome. All existing reservations remain unchanged.
