The agents and their clients have chanted their demands, and in response, Scenic has launched a sneaky set of Europe river cruising information sessions.

Being the first ever for Scenic, these pre-release sessions team up with local travel agents to host 15 of these free events in metro and regional centres around Oz.

Delving into its Europe, France and Portugal river cruising programs, the aim is to give travellers an insight into life on board the revolutionary Scenic ‘Space-Ships’, and in turn, keep the customer booking levels strong.

Guests of these sessions will also get schooled on all the new elements in the 2016 program, giving a specialised edge to agents, and some travel inspiration for potential clients.

Sydney will hold the first session on February 24, followed by Brisbane two days later, Melbourne on March 3 and the Gold Coast on March 3 also.

Mooloolaba and Canberra will be in the spotlight on March 5, Perth and Newcastle on March 10, and Terrigal will score some agent attention on March 11.

Adelaide will be visited next on March 12, Parramatta and Geelong on March 17, Hobart on March 18 and Wollongong and Frankston wrapping things up on March 19.

For anyone unable to attend, Scenic Tours is also holding two free webinars.

The information sessions will be hosted by the local Scenic Tours sales and product teams who will be on hand to answer any questions and help guests decide which itinerary is right for them.

Special offers are also available on the day so stay tuned.

Owner of helloworld Winston Hills, Melanie Stedman, said the information sessions have a strong track record with clients, who relish in the chance to learn more about Scenic’s offers.

“Potential guests love the opportunity to find out more about the full Europe river cruising product range from the experts and repeat guests always attend to find out about new itineraries,” she said.

“We really make them work for us too as it is a great opportunity to accompany our clients and network with them. We find the sessions hugely valuable in terms of driving river cruise bookings for us which is great.”

All sessions are free, but as with any good thing, seats are limited so pre-booking is essential.

Agents are encouraged to register their clients online and attend with them on the day.
