Australia’s biggest dinosaur experience, Dinosaur Valley, has opened at Scenic World offering even more fun for the family.
For the first time, guests hear a new sound in the rainforest at Dinosaur Valley, the voice of Dino Super Fan and TV presenter, Andy Day. As guests go on their dino-size adventure, they can look for Andy’s exclusive Dinosaur Valley videos and audio buttons to learn about his favourite dinosaurs, incredible facts and feel his infectious enthusiasm for all dinotastic friends.
This year, Dinosaur Valley has its biggest herd ever with 60 dinosaurs and 29 species have migrated into the rainforest and around Scenic World. Guests are treated to T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Velociraptors, Dilophosaurus, and some of Australia’s very own dinosaurs such Minmi and Australovenator.
Guests will hop on the world’s steepest train, the Scenic Railway, into the ancient rainforest of the Jamison Valley and set off on an adventure beneath the canopy. They can use the Junior Ranger Field Guide to see how many different dinosaurs or herds they can spot. They can also pat a baby dinosaur and dare to ask a Dinosaur Ranger the most difficult dino question. Afterwards, they can take a Pterodactyl-eye view of the forest from above as they glide between the cliff tops on the iconic Scenic Skyway.
Surrounded by kilometres of wilderness, Dinosaur Valley is a one-of-a-kind way for the whole family to discover (or re-discover) the natural wonders of the Blue Mountains. Whether guests are a kid or still a kid at heart, Dinosaur Valley promises to leave everyone roaring for more.
Dinosaur Valley is included with all Scenic World tickets. Kids under three are free!
